Our social media giant client seeks a UX Researcher to join their team in this 12 month freelance role!

The UX Researcher Will Be Responsible For The Following

• Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define and deliver meaningful social VR products and features
• Collaboratively and independently develop and execute research projects
• Lead various research studies throughout all the phases of the research cycle and contextualizing insights for stakeholders
• Work with stakeholders to influence product roadmaps and strategy based on research insights
• Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team
  

The Ideal UX Researcher Should Possess The Following

• 4 years of UX Research experience working on a shipped product, conducting formative and evaluative research
• Experience with using VR/AR/MR devices and apps is desired but not mandatory
• Strong quantitative research skills, experience with programmatic metrics, longitudinal analysis, evaluative and quality rubrics
• Experience with conducting in-depth interviews, moderated prototype evaluation, is a plus
• Ability to conduct thematic analysis of feedback and generate clear narratives from user feedback
• Quantitative data analysis and ability to triangulate data from quantitative and qualitative sources
• Experience with storytelling to get traction with various audience
• Experience with autonomy and decision making to balance demands and prioritization
