Job Description

Brainrider is looking for an experienced Social Media Marketing Manager to join our client-embedded on-site team, working closely with an in-house marketing and creative team at one of the world’s most well-known tech companies. As part of our client’s Marketing team you will partner closely with various cross-functional teams, including Communications, Advertising, Creative, and Engineering to support social media campaigns for the world's largest platform for mobile augmented reality.


As our ideal candidate, you will have a depth of experience in social marketing strategy, content management, and campaign measurement. Experience managing social marketing across multiple channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube) for a global or multi-brand organization — including both organic and paid campaigns — will be critical. 


This role will see you successfully drive the day-to-day social content workstreams and monitor the effectiveness of the various social media marketing channels. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing augmented reality media strategies, including paid social and content creation.


What you’ll do

  • Execute paid social media marketing campaigns, including developing, testing, optimizing, and performance analysis 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and third-party agencies to manage the social content development and publishing calendars
  • Work regularly and collaboratively with the Developer Community Manager for our client’s AR program
  • Monitor and manage the effectiveness of the team’s social media marketing channels and touchpoints for creators and developers
  • Learn, understand, and advocate (internally and externally) the voice, tone, and visual identity of the team’s brand and social media presence
  • Set KPIs for social media campaigns and share industry best practices and insights to cross-functional teams and stakeholders


What you’ll bring

  • A minimum of five years experience of managing social media marketing content and strategy 
  • Passion and interest in augmented reality and emerging technologies
  • Efficient and organized with excruciating attention to detail 
  • Have a sound understanding of industry knowledge and social media best practices for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • The capability to think strategically and provide solutions 
  • Experience with creative software suites, and comfort with adjusting and optimizing various file types (e.g., images, video, motion graphics, etc.)
  • Adaptability and flexibility to the changing needs of the team
  • Previous experience with social media paid advertising and proven examples of how you’ve improved campaigns
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and on multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

This is a full-time embedded position working 100% with our client's office. This position is remote until further notice, following COVID-19 recommended SIP guidelines.
