Team Overview
As the team responsible for software Compliance, Release, Deployment & Device Update, Servicing, Flighting, and Measuring Quality, we enable engineers to create and ship high quality MR Devices and software to allow our external customers and partners to deliver value and innovation to their customers in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Drive in market VR engagement with external customers and partners, including social media follow-through
- Work with Mixed Reality Content & Learning team to ensure public-facing documentation is kept up to date
- Manage in market VR relationship with internal partners such as CSS and developer community
- Provide a wide range of test coverage for in market VR hardware, including making recommendations to vendor test team for expanded coverage
- Drive servicing updates for VR customers from the point of feedback to release in a quality update
- Coordinate with Windows Insider community, both internal to Microsoft and external, to selfhost the top areas of interest, including helping to triage new feedback bugs that come from this effort
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in program management within a product development and engineering team
- Overwhelming ability to synthesize new information to develop sound operational recommendations.
- Unwavering attention to detail
- End-user obsession and commitment to deliver results that exceed objectives and expectations.
- Demonstrated cross-functional and cross-org experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- A high tolerance for ambiguity and change
