The Technology Development Group (TDG) is looking for iOS Applications Engineers to help us build the next generation of interactive applications for our platform. This team is working with some of Apple's most advanced technologies including augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), machine learning (ML) and computer vision (CV). As a member of our organization you will assist us in crafting future products that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people.


Key Qualifications

Interest or proficiency in UI/UX design

Familiarity with ARKit

Proficiency in macOS, iOS or Unix development

Experience developing AR/VR applications

Experience using iOS frameworks like UIKit, AVFoundation, Core Motion, Core ML, CloudKit, SiriKit, StoreKit, etc.


Description

Apple’s apps define our products; they are the core fulfillment of our user stories. You will have the opportunity to build software that directly impacts how customers use our products. We work closely with Apple's human interface design team and our internal framework teams to define and develop the next generation of apps.


The ideal engineer for this role is comfortable working in a dynamic and creative team charged with exploring an uncharted and rapidly evolving domain. You will be researching and developing entirely new apps and experiences, a challenge that will demand rapid experimentation and prototyping without sacrificing code quality or attention to detail. You'll need a keen understanding of the state of the art in interactive 3D applications and an ambition to discover what the future holds in this space. We are building a passionate and diverse team that will span a broad range of application categories including productivity, communication, entertainment, health and fitness, and learning.


Education & Experience

BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science OR equivalent degree OR equivalent experience
