Job Description

We are looking for an Optical Test Engineer in Redmond, WA, to join our fast-growing team to develop next generation displays for Mixed Reality products. You will be part of highly capable professionals working on various technology and product areas.

Responsibilities
  • Characterize next generation displays for Mixed Reality products
  • Design custom test equipment
  • Develop calibration and test procedures
  • Work with internal and external partners for collaboration in various engineering fields
  • In-depth engineering and data analysis
  • Ability and willingness for occasional international travel

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of optical engineering experience, including a strong background in hands on experimentation and complex optical system alignments
  • Experience in optical manufacturing and optical assembly
  • Experience in optical test setup such as calibration, repeatability/reproducibility tests
  • Experience in opto-electric devices a plus
  • S. or M.S in Optical Engineering, Optical Science, Photonics, Electrical Engineering or Physics
  • Experience in optical simulation software such as Zemax, CodeV.
  • Experience in programming and data analysis software such as Python, Matlab, JMP
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
