Job Description
We are looking for an Optical Test Engineer in Redmond, WA, to join our fast-growing team to develop next generation displays for Mixed Reality products. You will be part of highly capable professionals working on various technology and product areas.Responsibilities
- Characterize next generation displays for Mixed Reality products
- Design custom test equipment
- Develop calibration and test procedures
- Work with internal and external partners for collaboration in various engineering fields
- In-depth engineering and data analysis
- Ability and willingness for occasional international travel
- 5+ years of optical engineering experience, including a strong background in hands on experimentation and complex optical system alignments
- Experience in optical manufacturing and optical assembly
- Experience in optical test setup such as calibration, repeatability/reproducibility tests
- Experience in opto-electric devices a plus
- S. or M.S in Optical Engineering, Optical Science, Photonics, Electrical Engineering or Physics
- Experience in optical simulation software such as Zemax, CodeV.
- Experience in programming and data analysis software such as Python, Matlab, JMP
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
