Associate Product Manager, Krikey

Krikey, an AR gaming app, is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our growing team!

In this role, you will report directly to the CTO, and be focused on operations and strategic execution across the company’s feature roadmap. Key responsibilities include: Jira and Confluence management, testing new features, and implementing new processes to help the engineering & design teams grow.

About the Role:

• Work with Engineering Team Leads to prioritize bug tickets in a regression, and determine which team member should work on these items.

• Conduct user tests on the app & partner with design team on UI / UX improvements based on these results. 

• Partner with the QA team to write test cases, and test all new features prior to their live date in-app.

• Manage the JIRA & Confluence for the specific features, keeping tickets and documentation updated per release. Communicate with team members about these updates.

• Collaborate with other Product Managers and Analysts to produce recommendations for product improvements.

• Collaborate with the QA team to suggest process improvements and more efficient release cycles.

What You’ll Bring:

• This role is designed for new grads (who have graduated with a bachelor’s within 1 year of applying for the role).

• Prior experience using Jira, Confluence, or other project management tools.

• Prior experience with project management (this could be a group you led at school, or a previous internship experience).

• High attention to detail & strong organizational skills. 

• Personable and excited about cross-functional collaborations.

Krikey is an Augmented Reality gaming app that is live on iOS and Android. Krikey just closed their Series A round, led by India’s largest telecom operator, Reliance Jio. Krikey has partnered with Google Maps, The Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Foundation, Sony Pictures Entertainment and the National Audubon Society, building custom AR games for each brand partner. In 2020, Krikey launched their first action-adventure game, Yaatra.  

Krikey was founded by sisters (Jhanvi and Ketaki) in 2017. They have previously worked at YouTube, Facebook's Oculus and Google X. Jhanvi holds a BA, MBA from Stanford and an MFA from USC, and Ketaki holds a BA, MA, and PhD from Stanford (in virtual reality and game development). Ketaki was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list for gaming in 2020. Krikey was named to the Fast Company list of Best Apps and Games of 2020.
