This position is based in Woburn, Massachusetts, USA and requires partial on-site presence.

The Role

In this mid-level software engineer role, candidates will contribute to the development of immersive user interface technologies, linking existing and future capabilities into customer facing products.
  • Work as part of a tightly knit cross-functional team to design, develop, and implement software.
  • Build cutting-edge, full stack, multi-user Hololens 2 applications.
  • Design and implement UI layouts and components alongside a design team.
  • Create rapid prototypes that incorporate stakeholder feedback.
  • Participate in field integrations, experiments, and demonstrations with end users.
  • Assist in planning and managing development sprints.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and product managers.
  • Participate in code reviews.
Who You Are

Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience with:
    • Software design, development, debugging, and performing software integration and test.
    • One or more of the following languages: C#, C, C++, Python, Java.
  • 1+ years of work experience with:
    • Programming and developing AR, VR or Mixed Reality applications using Unity 3D (Game Engine), Unreal or similar platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to find solutions to abstract design problems, particularly with respect to translating real-world concepts and interactions into VR.
  • Experience designing and building projects independently.
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
  • Some travel may be required ( < 20%)
Even Better
  • Experience building native plugins in Unity or other game engines.
  • Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems.
  • Simulation or gaming experience.
  • Experience optimizing processes for low-compute and low-memory environments for production computer vision and AR algorithms.
  • Active Security Clearance.
