We are looking for a DevOps engineer to work on a project with our client. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for understanding and providing guidance to client teams on best practices in software security and architecture for Robotics Systems. Responsibilities will also include development and maintenance of internal application security tools, and performing threat modeling, static analysis, and dynamic analysis.

Technical Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of Unix/macOS administration, including shell scripting (bash, Python)
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with networking infrastructure (subnetting, network access control)
• Familiarity working at the device driver level
• Experience with continuous integration/deployment through automation servers
• Experience with OO languages (Go, C++, C#)
• Experience with source-control administration (Git)
• Excellent analytical, debugging and problem solving skills
• Build and improve upon existing infrastructure, making decisions on future frameworks, languages and DevOps.
• Willingness to learn new and emerging technologies and implement in a short time
• Learn the existing environment and continue to make it more scalable and maintainable as the company grows.
• Confidence to lead other developers technically and act as technical advisor to upper management.
• As a Release and Build Engineer, to work with our Software and Release Engineers to develop and support automation tools required for our build, release, and monitoring processes
• Integrate new components in our pipeline, writing new software where needed to interface between components
• Develop and maintain new CI and delivery tools needed to support scaling deployments
• Excellent software engineering problem solving skills

Education and Experience:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent 
• 3+ years of work experience
• 1+ year experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• 1+ year experience working with cloud platforms such as Firebase
• 1+ year experience with programming in languages such as Python and Go

• Ability to test their code and the code of others
• Hard working, "get it done" attitude
