Job Description
Expected compensation: $60.00 - $78.00 per hour
HireArt is helping the world's largest social network find a 3D Technical Artist to adapt existing 3D virtual content to the needs of the AR glasses design team.
The ideal candidate will have a background in motion graphics, UX, and AR/VR. All candidates must be experienced with low poly, performant 3D modeling, rigging and animation, and Unity.
As 3D Technical Artist, You Will
- Create product-ready assets for internal rapid testing and external release
- Collaborate with other technical teams
- Give and solicit real-time feedback from others in order to approve the quality of the product
- Partner effectively with designers, prototypers, PMs and engineers
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience required
- Experience with real-time 3D development
- Experience with rigging and animation
- Strong skills with 3D modeling and animation software
- Must have Unity experience
- Strong experience creating layouts and generate 3D content
- Ability to visualize in 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design
- Proven problem solving experience and experience overcoming challenges
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability
Additional Qualifications
- Motion graphics experience
- UX background
- Experience with AR/VR development
- Character modeling experience
- Experience creating procedural and reactive shaders
Commitment: This is a full-time (40 hours per week), 3-month contract position staffed via HireArt and based in Seattle, WA. This position will be fully remote until offices reopen. Candidate must be local to the Seattle, WA area.
