We are looking for Facilities Maintenance HVAC Mechanic Technicians to service, maintain, troubleshoot, modify and repair facilities mechanical systems and components for a state-of-the-art semiconductor FAB. The work environment is primarily indoors and clean. This position gives you the opportunity to expand and develop your skills as you work on highly technical facilities equipment using a leading-edge maintenance program.
  • Provide timely and thorough preventative maintenance on highly technical facilities equipment.
  • Assist with installation, modification, repair and removal of facilities equipment.
  • Monitor equipment to resolve equipment issues and maximize system stability
  • Order stock and maintain adequate supplies to conduct installation and repairs
  • Provide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues.
  • Identify and resolve chronic equipment alarm issues.
  • Identify and reduce equipment defects to improve quality and maximize system stability.
  • Provide a high level of service with strong customer focus and build effective relationships with supported teams.
  • 12-hour shifts. Work seven out of fourteen days by alternating between three and four work days per week. Rotate between day and night shifts every four months
Qualifications

Successful candidates for this position will have:
  • Intermediate PC skills including a familiarity with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision
  • Proven time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong partnering and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work any shift, which includes weekends, nights and holidays. Shifts are 12-hours, with work weeks that alternate between three and four days.
Education And Experience
  • Required: Minimum – Relevant degree or appropriate certifications/licensing
  • Preferred: 5 years' experience or HVAC journeyman’s license

Operates, maintains and adjusts controls for heating, ventilation and air conditioning components, including ultrapure water and waste water treatment equipment for the numerous semiconductor facility systems to mitigate deviations from required operating parameters. Performs initial repairs of support infrastructure to include electrical, plumbing, pneumatic controls and mechanical HVAC components supporting facilities systems. Monitors, manipulates, analyzes and communicates to system owners and responds to deviations in system performance alarmed through the site HMI application in the Central Facilities Control Room for corrective response to deviation occurrences. Performs air balance activities to support manufacturing tool requirements as specified by tool manufacturers and site HVAC systems. Reads and understands OEM manuals, blueprints, drawings, schematics and general instructions to perform task assignments. Performs preventive maintenance inspections and diagnostic testing to ensure proper system operation. Repairs in-place HVAC related systems utilizing appropriate tools and equipment to achieve optimal design and functional specifications. Researches replacement parts, equipment, specifications and methods required to maintain and repair industrial equipment and systems. Responds to life safety and security alarms conditions.
