The Mixed Reality Strategy & Operations group is looking to fill a key role on its newly formed central Business Management team. This group operates as the Mixed Reality central office, supporting the Mixed Reality CVP and leadership team.

As a Business Manager in the MR S&O executive office, you will have the opportunity to operate in a hybrid role, driving key central operational initiatives for MR, specifically leading the day-to day Real Estate & Security space portfolio and construction projects. In addition, this role will support an MR LT member as their dedicated Business Manager and provide operational rigor to their group. The role will exercise and develop your general management skills, partnering with and supporting across all levels of the team. You’ll be a vital, trusted member of the team, participate in challenging, fast-paced execution and will contribute big-picture thinking and strategic execution.

You will report to the Business Management lead, work closely with the Director of Strategy & Operations, the Executive Administrative team and have a peer team of Business Managers to lean on. This role is critical to the scale of the Mixed Reality leadership team and you will be a key factor in our success.

Responsibilities
  • Support strategy and execution of worldwide Real Estate & Security Space planning for Mixed Reality, including building moves/restacks, hybrid workplace operations, lab/specialty space build-outs, partnership with C+AI planning, and non-Puget Sound space audits
  • Monitor and strengthen our business policies, audit and improve our capacity for operating our business effectively
  • Be a single point of contact for the group VP/GM for matters related to Business Management, exec communications, document preparation. headcount and staffing planning, and daily problem solving
  • Support coordination and continuous improvement of the overall group rhythm of the business (ROB) in partnership with the group lead, senior leaders and Executive Administrator
  • Manage end-to-end planning, organizational content, logistics and execution of group organizational events, e.g. All-Hands, offsites, staff meetings, etc.
  • Lead and orchestrate Resource Management, Planning and FY Priorities process
  • Develop business processes and tools to improve organizational efficiency and communication lines
  • Identify, analyze, and develop strategies to improve organizational health, including culture work, MS Poll initiatives, diversity and inclusion (D&I) priorities, rewards and recognition and other org and people health related actions
  • Partner with LT and business admin team on overall team morale strategy and related events/activities
  • Lean in with other stakeholders within the team to manage and drive special projects

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • 3 years' minimum experience in Business Management, Operations, Project Management and/or Program Management
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required

  • Ability to present and defend recommendations to a variety of audiences, including sensitive business issues to senior management, without direct ownership of resources
  • Capable of strong individual contribution and influence across non-direct reporting teams
  • Know when to raise your hand when you have concerns over plans based on your business acumen
  • Manages confidentiality without exception
