We are looking for an exceptional HR Generalist/Sr. HR Generalist who will serve as the key point of contact and HR site lead for our Wilmington Mass site, supporting various levels of leadership, management and employees. You will also be an important member of the HR team, ensuring consistency in our HR practices and balance advocating for the business, employees, and managers.

 

What you will do:

  • Leveraging your strong HR generalist skills, you will be responsible for driving all HR programs, projects and activities at the site(s) of responsibility, advising and guiding managers and employees on such matters including performance management, employee relations, development planning, training, immigration/visa matters, HR process improvement, HR metrics/reporting, candidate interviewing and selection and more.
  • You will serve as the day-to-day HR contact for site management and employees to address questions and issues that arise, providing sound HR guidance and counsel in a responsive and timely manner
  • You will serve as trusted advisor and influencer to leadership and management for matters related to the site(s) of responsibility.
  • You will partner with our HR COE’s (e.g. total rewards/benefits, talent acquisition, talent and org development, communications) in support of HR programs, projects and activities and serve as the liaison for the site(s) employee population ensuring a high quality level of service is provided.
  • You will support our company’s efforts in ensuring company policies and practices are in compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and procedures, including record keeping, policy statements, non-discriminatory practices, regulation compliance, affirmative action, etc.
  • You will develop an understanding of our business beyond the HR function and influence the local organization(s) to ensure superior operations and business outcomes.  

What will you bring to the team, along with your passion for being an indispensable HR Business Partner is:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist, or an equivalent mix of education and experience; Experience working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
  • Experience must include performance management, employee relations, and corrective action; experience managing immigration matters a plus
  • Knowledge of State and Federal laws impacting employment and ability to interpret and apply applicable laws and regulations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to persuade stakeholders, peers, and management
  • Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, Workday preferred
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) strongly desired
  • SHRM CP and/or HRCI PHR certification a plus
