Position Summary:

Touchstone Research conducts a wide range of innovative qualitative research studies including focus groups, in-depth interviews, UX sessions, ethnography, diary studies, insight communities, online discussion boards and more.

 

The Marketing Research Associate will interface directly with the Qualitative Recruitment Manager, Recruitment team, Full-service qual team, research vendors and our awesome clients.

 

Training will be provided on survey programming, recruitment processes, online and mobile qual tools, activity guide development, moderation and reporting and analysis.

 

The Marketing Research Associate will be responsible for:

 

·      Writing, programming and testing screening surveys

·      Reviewing and selecting participants for projects

·      Filling all necessary participant project quotas

·      Creating a participant schedule and participant spreadsheets/”sign ins”

·      Participant communication and follow up

·      Managing incentive distribution and processing

·      Managing partners/vendors

·      Providing daily project updates to clients

·      Creating blog posts/ads for research opportunities

·      Collaborating with team members and coming up with creative ways to source participants

·      Assisting in activity and discussion guide development

·      Setting up online communities, discussion boards, ethnographies, in-depth interview and focus groups

·      Monitor qual research project activities and provide progress updates

·      Moderation of qualitative activities

·      Ensure project deadlines are met

·      Conduct deep dives, identify key themes, develop charts/tables/graphs, code verbatim responses, and develop video highlight reels

·      Work closely with clients & qual research team to develop topline and executive summary reporting deliverables

 

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in a field which provides the necessary analytical ability (e.g. marketing research/marketing, sociology, psychology, business management, communication, finance, statistics) strong GPA and educational achievements, solid computer knowledge/experience and strong analytical and interpersonal skills. 

 

Candidate must have:

 

·      Minimum: Bachelor’s degree

·      Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Excel/Word/PowerPoint mandatory

·      Experience with survey or qualitative research tools a plus (SPSS, Nvivo, MaxQDA, etc.)

·      Strong interpersonal skills

·      Demonstrated strong analytic, writing and presentation ability

·      Attention to detail, accuracy and follow through

·      Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload

·      Must be a task-oriented self-starter able to work independently, be highly productive and meet project deadlines yet work well as part of a team
