Job Description

Our client, a VR production company, is seeking an Instructional Designer to join their team.


You will report to the Instructional Design Manager and be responsible to:

  • Ideate, design, and write custom, immersive learning curriculum and assessment using templates and tools for enterprise customers.
  • Design curriculum according to adult learning theory and data methodology
  • Collaborate and partner with internal project team stakeholders to structure implementation and evaluation strategy for immersive curriculum
  • Partner with customer SME’s to create engaging training experiences that meet business objectives and expectations Content Development
  • Develop the immersive training program build as scripted during curriculum design using St proprietary authoring tools
  • Partner with internal project team members to ensure all build operations, data, and feedback are incorporated
  • Perform quality check for the build using proprietary review tools Maintain and update the script to reflect any changes or updates made within the build
  • Collaborate with internal project team members and external stakeholders to execute virtual reality training content that meets scoped customer objectives and quality standards Curriculum Design

Musts:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Instructional Design, Learning and Development and/or Training Development
  • Proven working experience with instructional technology and authoring tools (Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate, etc.)
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • Detail oriented and concise, engaging and collaborative communication style
  • Proven strength in time and project management; ability to meet tight deadlines and navigate ambiguity
  • Passionate about the freedom that new technology brings to communication and training

Pluses:

  • Experience with VR, AR, XR
  • Master's degree in educational technology or related field
  • Familiarity with screenwriting and/or video technology and editing
