Lenovo's Strategy organization within IDG is incubating many new emerging businesses to position for growth into the future. We are looking to hire a Business and Sales Operations Manager, Commercial AR/VR reporting to the Director of Operations. Essentially, we’ve created a startup within the larger Lenovo structure, and we are growing quickly. This role will be part of the global AR/VR team and will interact with a large cross-functional team that includes our global sales teams, large enterprise regional sales teams, channel sales and e-commerce teams. The project and role are critical to transforming Lenovo from a preferred hardware supplier to a Solution-centric, innovation driven strategic partner.

As the Business and Sales Operations Manager, Commercial AR/VR, you’ll support the sales operations teams globally, and manage the forecasts and sales projections for the Commercial AR/VR BU consisting of hardware, software and services solutions. This position reports into the Director of Operations, Commercial AR/VR and will be strongly aligned to the Lenovo sales teams. This is a fast-paced role for someone who has strong analytical and communication skills.

You’ll meet regularly with our global and regional sales teams to deliver timely and accurate sales measurement reporting to support quota analysis and deployment, track the pipeline and quarterly revenue commitments, and ensure these forecasts align with our global supply chain. This is a unique opportunity that requires analytical thinking, big picture planning, but a true focus on execution. In this role you will present ongoing status, results, and recommendations to Director and VP levels. The candidate must be able to "fire-fight" on a daily basis, and boil up to senior management with effective, efficient communication, ultimately, driving concept to tangible programs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis around historical trends for futures predictions
  • Analyze and understand trends in key metrics, and drive corrective actions and investigations
  • Provide analytics and manage the changes for sales coverage
  • Model key metrics and provide recommendations to sales leaders in areas including but not limited to: revenue, profit, AUR, EUS
  • Manage projects for the Ops team - Drive ownership and follow-through of actions and activities
  • Control supporting material for internal communication (ie Quarterly Operational Reviews, Deep Dives, etc)
  • Provide quota guidance requirements to Sales leader
Lenovo is a global company with customers and partners worldwide therefore candidates are expected to join conferences calls outside of "normal" business hours to help support internal development as well as customer and partner engagement.

Basic Qualifications

Position Requirements:
  • B.S. in related fields.
  • 5+ years working on technology related sales operations programs
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrate financial acumen, systems knowledge, and overall business insight.
  • Proven presentation skills both in presentation and creation.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals in a related role
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and strategic abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • M.S in related fields with MBA
  • Proficiency in Lenovo’s sales operations process
  • Superior Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with Dynamics, Qlik, SQL, Brio or Hyperion would be advantageous.
  • Superior communications skills, both verbal and written, as well as refined presentation skills with the ability to present to a leadership team on a weekly basis
  • Team player attitude with the ability to work proactively & autonomously
  • Candidates with previous experience in the IT industry are strongly preferred
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills.
