Come be a part of the Facebook AR/VR team. We are focused on building people-first VR experiences. We believe that Virtual Reality will help define the future of online interaction and we can't build that future without you.As a UI Artist within the AR/VR art team, you will help define how people, environments and engagement are represented in the VR experience and beyond. You will work with a team of passionate Engineers, Designers and Product Managers to advance bringing our audience together in this new immersive means of interacting.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Art Directors and Product Designers to establish the look of the game’s front-end
- Work with a team of engineers and UI developers to ensure the final product reflects the design vision and delivers an intuitive user experience
- Develop arts assets from concepts, sketches, layout, and to the final product
- Collaborate with UI designers on wireframes, mockups, and icons
- Assist cross-functional teams to build logical, readable, and seamless UI solutions
- Providing alternative solutions to addressing certain UI needs
- Ability to pick up new tools and techniques
- Create documentation as necessary
Minimum Qualification
- 3+ years of experience as a UI artist
- Experience creating casual and/or mobile games
- Development experience on a variety of mobile platforms
- Experience using Unity UI engine
- Experience in 3D applications (Maya), Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects (or equivalent motion graphics software)
Preferred Qualification
- VR software development experience
