Sconce, Inc. based in Frisco, Texas, USA is a global provider of turnkey consulting and project implementation services for manufacturing companies using leading PLM/MCAD/AR/IOT software in the market. We are seeking Augmented Reality (AR) and IoT focused Consultants to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a US Citizen/Permanent Resident and can be located anywhere in the Unites States and will have the ability to work from a home office with occasional onsite customer visits. Non-US citizen/resident applications will not be considered.

Prerequisites

Skills and Experience

·      Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics.

·      Strong foundational knowledge of AR/VR technologies and Vuforia suite of solutions

·      At least 1-3 years of hands-on experience in creating AR experiences using Vuforia Studio and AR apps using Vuforia Engine and exposure to Expert Capture, Kepware, Analytics and Composer modules

·      Demonstrated programming skills (IoT, Java, C, HTML5, Unity, JavaScript and Angular JS)

·      Working Knowledge of IoT and Thingworx required.

·      Excellent client facing skills complemented by exceptional written and oral communication skills and strong organizational abilities.

·      Experience as a technical consultant with customer facing responsibility.

·      Must have the immediate ability to work anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users and other client teams to develop and document business requirements into system-based solutions, focused on leveraging the PTC Vuforia suite.
• Interact with key business unit stakeholders to coordinate, review, and validate requirements, status updates, enhancements, deployments and production system go-live support.
• Conduct periodic review meetings and create status reports for senior management review.
• Knowledge capture for re-use in future projects and customer engagements.
• Work with team members with varied skill sets and guide them in the use of AR and IoT best practices, provide technical or business process assistance and mentoring.
• Development of the PLM infrastructure, system upgrades, data migration, and workflow creation, working with teams to develop solutions that meet business requirements. while seeking to reduce customizations.
• Must be able to plan, allocate, and efficiently consume project resources.
• Operates under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.
