Join the adventure of a lifetime as we make science fiction real and change the world.The Technology Transfer Leader is responsible for helping to coordinate manufacturing and integration for end-to-end processes of AR/VR components. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and developing strategies for mass production readiness. You will lead technology transfers and manage partnerships to support OK2Ramp milestones for next generation AR/VR components. You will be responsible for partnership and collaboration with other Technology Leaders, TPMs, GSM’s and Operations Teams to build the necessary infrastructure aligned with programs goals and go-to market strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Lead infrastructure development to integrate customer input into manufacturing process flows.
  • Lead technical engagement at suppliers to evaluate and develop complete solutions for manufacturing, data management, logistic and quality control.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing to define and establish engagement models and implement mass production solutions aligned with product strategy.
  • Develop Optical and Mechanical technologies (including emerging technologies) and awareness of intellectual property and licensing boundaries in relation to FBT owned technologies.
  • Deliver complex multi-faceted projects that contribute to key technical and strategic decisions which help the team meet objectives in our technology development roadmap
  • Define and implement business processes and tools within an organization.
  • Work with regulatory requirements and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Problem-solve to address multi-part problems with high levels of uncertainty across multiple groups and companies.
Minimum Qualification
  • Master’s degree in Optical Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in product development and technology transfer in a consumer electronics or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in design, assembly and automation, testing and deployment of test plus metrology tools.
  • 1+ years of experience in developing hardware test solutions for automated data capture and data processing.
  • 1+ years of experience in optical manufacturing, displays components and or camera assembly.
  • 1+ years of experience with implementing new manufacturing processes.
  • 1+ years of experience with in-line and off-line Quality Control processes.
  • 1+ years of experience with building and implementing tools to manage sensitive customer data.

Preferred Qualification
  • PhD in Optical Sciences, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in process transfer and new product development.
  • 7+ years of experience in testing and metrology.
  • 1+ years of experience with optical design, optical manufacturing, tolerancing and quality control.
  • Familiarity with FDA requirements and privacies rule across multiple jurisdictions.
  • MBA or equivalent business experience.
