What You Will Be Doing
As a Hardware Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for shaping, managing, and developing a team of engineers. You will empower the team to design and support the electronics and mechanical systems of augmented reality products throughout the entire product life cycle. In addition to managing a team, you may represent the company in supplier meetings, program kickoffs, project definition, while aligned to long-term department strategy. You will have ownership and oversight of the development of new product submodules, as well as strategic engineering initiatives
What You Need for this Position
- 10+ years experience with 4+ years of experience managing multiple hardware engineering teams (manager of managers).
- Experience in leading hardware development activities (systems engineering, IC design, FW/SW, test and integration, etc.).
- Designed hardware systems that have made it to production - even if low volume.
- 2-3 years experience in augmented reality or virtual reality.
- Have worked with sensors (cameras, ToF, radar, etc.), and/or RF systems/antennas.
