We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team. This is a senior-level role with experience providing consulting services in life sciences. Remote work for the next few months due to COVID.

The Project Manager is responsible for a variety of IT projects focused on optimizing worldwide business processes.

The Position Involves

We are looking for solid PMs (Budget, Scope, Change Management) with Regulatory, Med Affairs/Commercial experience. Preferably PMP certified.
  • Overseeing the planning and execution of Regulatory Publishing, Medical Affairs, Commercial/Launch Readiness projects, and project results delivery.
  • Directing cross-functional teams including regulatory affairs, medical affairs, commercial business stakeholders,and vendors to achieve defined outcomes aligned with business strategy
  • Responsibility for internal stakeholder management and communications and the management of external IT vendors and establishing a strong partnership with stakeholders inside and outside the organization
  • Project Status Reporting
  • Project financial management
  • Working closely with the Business Sponsors in order to ensure proper alignment and governance
  • Ensuring the proper handover to the users and to the support colleagues in IT Operations.
The role will report directly to the Program Manager within the Finance and Portfolio Tower within IT.

The Project Manager will demonstrate competencies across the following primary responsibilities and activities:
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline work plan.
  • Establish work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations or phases, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Review project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of available departmental resources to various project phases.
  • Analyze project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects.
  • Review/approve work plan of external service provider or consultancy contracted to execute project.
  • Create and manage the MS teams collaboration site
  • Implement project communication plan.
  • Conduct risk assessment and mitigation. Maintain Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies log.
  • Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality and integrity of the information, while providing consistency in content and "look and feel" across the enterprise.
  • Ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives.
  • Assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority to project personnel.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
  • Review status reports prepared by project personnel, and modify schedules or plans as required.
  • Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
  • Continuously benchmark project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in PPM.
The main skills and experience of the succesfull candidate include:
  • Master's or bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field of study, or equivalent experience
  • Five or more years experience in a strategic IT partner role.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience managing regulatory, medical affairs, and commercial projects.
  • Consulting experience in/to the biotech/pharma business
  • 10 or more years of experience in IT business/industry
  • Five to seven years in diverse roles with increasing leadership responsibilities across major projects and programs
  • PMI or Prince2 certification
  • Regulatory Publishing, Medical Affairs, Commercial/Launch Readiness
  • Experience in change management, budget & scope management
  • Excellent Communication skills – oral & written
  • Pleasant Personality skills
  • Precise & to the point communication
