UX Researcher V, ARVR
As a UX researcher within our client's reality team, you'll have the opportunity to partner with other researchers and cross-functional stakeholders on projects to make VR more social for our users. Research is paramount to this organizations success - foundational research is needed to identify the right user needs and people problems to tackle with product/feature solutions and iterative evaluative research with testable prototypes is needed to provide impactful insights to the design and development teams. You are guaranteed to be pushing the boundaries of VR and AR and work with the technology of tomorrow.
*This is a true mixed methods position. Candidates must bring prior Quant work, not just Qualitative**

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define and deliver meaningful social VR products and features for the Oculus platform
- Collaboratively and independently develop and execute research projects
- Lead various research studies throughout all the phases of the research cycle and contextualizing insights for stakeholders
- Work with stakeholders to influence product roadmaps and strategy based on research insights
- Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in a human behavior related field, such as HCI, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies or computer science
- 4+ years of UX Research experience working on a shipped product, conducting formative and evaluative research (non academic)
- Prior experience with using VR/AR/MR devices and apps is highly preferred
- Strong quantitative research skills, experience with programmatic metrics, longitudinal analysis, evaluative and quality rubrics.
- Experience with conducting in-depth interviews, moderated prototype evaluation
- Ability to conduct thematic analysis of feedback and generate clear narratives from user feedback.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
- Quantitative data analysis and ability to triangulate data from quantitative and qualitative sources
- Experience with storytelling to get traction with various audience
- Experience with autonomy and decision making to balance demands and prioritization
