The Facebook Reality Labs Partnerships team is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to drive partnerships across our AR Wearables devices in our AR/VR Partnerships team. She/he will lead a team of top-notch business development professionals looking at product partnerships to support development and launch of new AR/VR products.

You will have successfully led complex, first in-kind deals for product partnerships in consumer electronics and wearable devices. You will have deep experience growing and building a multi-level partnership organization. The ideal candidate will also have experience mentoring and developing a strong team, be a self-starter who is comfortable in a rapidly changing environment and takes a proactive and strategic approach to business development.

Responsibilities
  • Build and execute on global product partnerships to support development and launch of upcoming AR products.
  • Define, negotiate, and close complex product, marketing, brand, and technology with other CE companies, OEM’s, and brands.
  • Develop, drive, and implement wearable product partner strategy that is aligned with FRL’s product strategy.
  • Build and lead a global BD team of diverse product partnership managers.
  • Work cross-functionally with product management, product marketing, legal, finance, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms and advocate internally on behalf of partners.
Minimum Qualification
  • BA/BS degree.
  • 15+ years of work experience, including 10+ years of business development experience specifically in consumer electronics and/or wearables. Experience leading complex product partnerships with a broad set of cross functional team members in a fast paced environment.
  • Proven experience in CE ecosystems with structuring and negotiating the business, technology and legal aspects of product partnership agreements, with a track record of closed strategic partnerships for hardware devices and related software.
  • Global executive experience, having lived and/or worked in at least two continents and led global teams across US, Europe and Asia.
  • Extremely hands-on structuring, negotiation and execution experience complex strategic deal constructs at C-level.
  • Direct experience working cross-functionally with large product management, engineering, sales, and marketing teams, from individual contributors to executives.
  • Interpersonal skills and experience developing working relationships inside and outside Facebook.
  • Tech-savvy and product curious.
Preferred Qualification
  • Technical degree with JD or MBA, joint degree (ie.,JD and MBA or Engineering/Computer Science and MBA).
  • Experience operating with flexibility in a fast-paced, always-on, constantly evolving and collaborative environment and work effectively cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally.
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills with technical, contractual and financial issues.
