Augmented and Virtual Reality Content Engineer Saline, MI Long Term Contract Responsibilities Be a part of the digital technology application promotion team in Client's engineering and data innovation department. Create various types of content to support AR VR implementation throughout the company Create automation to support workflow between Client's CAD System (CATIA V5) and AR VR technology Support data organization and creation of digital media utilizing advanced visualization and rendering tools Setup equipment and software to host meetings in AR or VR Integrate and apply new technology in existing Client systems and processes Create new operating procedures Ability to effectively communicate in written and oral form to management and other departments (examples) New project proposals Meeting minutes and future actions Requests for support to overcome challenges Reporting out work results Collaborating with others in similar roles in other locations in Client North America. Qualification Requirements 3+ years of experience developing content in Unity or Unreal Engine 3+ years of experience as a programmer in a mature team, studio environment or agency for developing games, applications or similar products Strong understanding of object oriented programming principles High school diploma or GED equivalent Basic understanding of CATIA V5 Ability to work to meet schedules and deadlines Must be able to effectively communicate in English Qualification Wants Engineering degree in computer science or computer related area Experience using CATIA V5 (1 year) or other CAD packages A passion for new technology Strong computing background (with ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly) HILS programming experience (1 year) Experience using AR VR hardware HTC VIVE Pro HMD Varjo HMD Microsoft Hololens Experience using AR VR software ESI IC.IDO VRED Experience with the following programming languages PHP SQL JavaScript HTML5 CSS C++ Visual Studio Key Skills AR, VR software, VRED, ESI IC.IDO, object-oriented programming, CATIA V5, Microsoft HoloLens Referral Program Ask our recruiting team about how you can be a part of our referral program.
