Job Description
We are looking for a Dallas-based Motion Graphics Artist and Editor to join our growing creative team in Dallas/Fort Worth. If you are someone who’s passionate about design, all things film and video, and know your way around the Adobe Suite & Cinema 4D then we want to hear from you!
As a Motion Graphics Artist and Editor, your role requires creativity, flexibility, and a passion for innovative design across a variety of mediums. You’ll be in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to deliver exceptional work while managing multiple projects – one day you might be designing motion type for a Fortune 200 brand in a quick turn video, the next might be 3D graphics for an interactive game for AR/VR or even editing a short video for social media. You must be comfortable transitioning easily between projects, collaborating effectively with various teams, and communicating professionally in all workspaces. Attention to detail and a desire to produce quality work are a must.
This position will report to our Senior Producer and will be part of a growing production & creative team on site. This candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Concept and or collaborate with the internal design team on 2d & 3d animated graphics to be used in internal and externally within the organization
- Conceptualize, design, and animate creative content
- Animate various styles of motion graphics
- Create 2D/3D animation
- Create and develop visual effects
- Work collaboratively with media production, design, and product teams to create and enhance content
- Maintain organized, reliable filing system for ease of collaboration
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Work as an assistant editor and/or lead editor on video projects both for our in-house social media channels and for clients
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is deadline-driven, organized, and extremely creative. Candidates with great portfolios and relevant experience are encouraged to apply!
Requirements:
- Adobe Suite: After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator (expert)
- Cinema 4D (Maya or 3ds Max also acceptable)
- 3D modeling, rigging, and animation
- Green Screen Compositing
- Conception, drafting, and finalization of motion graphics, animation, etc.
- Strong sense of composition, design, type layout, and animation
- Ability to adapt and produce in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in film or visual communications
- 2-3+ years of motion graphics/video editor or similar role experience.
- Film production camera department experience, and/or web application, VR/AR experience a plus!
- Creative thinker and natural problem solver, highly organized, and communicative
- Strong understanding of file formats, social media channel formats, and other relevant file structures
