Microsoft was awarded a contract by the United States Army to produce hardware, software, and cloud solutions for the Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS) program. The program leverages technology from HoloLens to produce a head-up display that pushes the boundaries of mixed reality devices. Responsibilities
In this role, you will partner with teams across the IVAS business and engineering organizations to drive successful customer engagement and program execution. This includes day-to-day engagement with our key customers as well as leading customer engagement activities, defining collaboration processes and reporting approach. You will be responsible for internal communications excellence, ensuring teams are aligned and aware of project schedule, critical milestones, and customer feedback. A successful candidate will be passionate about collaborative, successful customer engagement and energized by the opportunity to represent the “voice of the customer” into Microsoft. The role has a significant impact in driving future business growth within the Department of Defense Sector by providing a world class customer experience.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead customer engagement through definition of a rhythm of business, lead event coordination and execution, including customer touchpoints/meetings, and related calendar management.
- Ensure Mixed Reality cross-team program alignment through the development and distribution of key communications, meetings and events for the Customer Success team.
- Define, manage and communicate internal Rhythm of Business.
- Partner with content & tools PM to help define, communicate and ensure collaboration processes with customer(s) are relevant, timely and compliant.
- Be the “voice of the customer” bringing feedback and insights to the broad IVAS team, including defining and executing upon collaborative action plans.
- Partner with our Analytics team to share reporting requirements, define and govern all customer reporting dashboards, reporting delivery timelines and related communications.
- Maintain and communicate the master program schedule with adherence to critical customer deliverable timelines.
- Lead and support strategic internal and customer-facing meetings.
- Actively manage Customer Success team fiscal year budget.
- Support team with related business operations activities, as required.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of project or program management experience.
- Experience bringing different organizations together to collaborate and work through differences in approach
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment.
- Great written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively across disciplines and teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and make independent decisions.
- Experience working on hardware device programs is highly preferred
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
