Position Summary

Radiology Partners is seeking an applicant with experience supporting PACS, VR and structured reporting software. Will need a strong understanding of interfacing, system integrations, and medical imaging reporting. Candidates need to be able to develop complex solutions for large scale projects. Should also be proficient at data validation and multiple testing methodologies.

Position Duties And Responsibilities
  • Create data streams between multiple medical imaging systems
  • Working knowledge of software that includes but is not limited to:
  • Structured Reporting
  • Voice Recognition
  • PACS
  • Interface Engines
  • Provide VR and PACS support regarding report workflow and other workflow initiatives
  • Develop standards for SR mapping as it pertains to PACS reporting and downstream system interpretation
  • Monitor reporting translation and intake performance
  • Documentation/Process Map/Execution
  • Creation of test documentation and execution of testing for new processes, software upgrades and workflows
  • Ownership for creation and documentation of new processes and workflows
  • Maintain and update document repository for new systems/processes
  • Ability to assist Radiologist with SR level support in VR applications, which includes auto-texts, templates, and Radiologist training
  • Identify inefficiency and design appropriate recommendations to improve end-to-end workflows
  • Establish and Maintain vendor relationships to resolve issues and develop solutions
Required Skills

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • At least five years’ experience with delivering high quality support services in a healthcare-oriented IS support environment, achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of healthcare system related applications and medical imaging workflows
  • Extensive knowledge of structured reporting and related software
  • Shows in-depth knowledge and understanding of the roles and workflows within an Imaging organization
  • Self-Confidence
  • Able to demonstrate the following:
  • Analytical thinker with proven problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills - oral, written, and presentation
  • Able to interact effectively with physicians, clinical staff, management, and vendor
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Detail oriented
Desired Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge and understanding of (in order of importance):
  • VR and PACS related applications
  • HL7 interfaces
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
  • Configuring software for optimal radiologist productivity and standardized data ingestion
  • Individualizing processes and workflows to meet varying needs or subspecialties of our sites
  • Able and interested in working a flexible schedule
  • Can work in the office, at our customer sites and from home
  • Able to wear many hats in addition to primary job responsibilities
