Are you passionate about accounting and being part of a small collaborative team? MicroVision has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant as a key member in our Corporate Finance team. As the Accountant, you will provide management and investors timely and accurate information, you will be responsible for general accounting duties including the preparation of month end journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, and standard and adhoc reports.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly Closing – prepare various journal entries with supporting documentation
• Maintain general ledger account reconciliations
• Maintain fixed asset subsidiary ledger
• Prepare standard monthly reports
• Assist in preparation of SEC financial reporting
• Review purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders
• Prepare adhoc analyses and support the Controller on projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Must have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or similar
• Must have at least 3 - 5 years accounting experience, preferably junior to intermediate level. 
• Must have monthly organization closing process experience
• Prefer high-tech or R&D industry experience
• Broad accounting exposure is highly desired
• Excellent knowledge of GAAP
• Must have ERP or similar experience, preferably in Netsuite
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook
