Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Employer

Job Description

We’re The Wild, and we’re passionate about collaboration and the power of technology to transform the way we work together. We’ve built a virtual workspace that allows architecture and design teams to collaborate at human scale in virtual and augmented reality.

We’re seeking a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and develop our existing and future AWS services. Your main responsibilities will include designing and automating AWS infrastructure, improving network security and communicating with clients about network security.

Our current solution requires strong knowledge of general topics like load balancing and traffic routing, as well as AWS specific services such as EC2, Cloudfront, S3, Route 53 and others. You will need the ability to automate resource provisioning and updating through infrastructure scripting such as Terraform or Pulumi. You should be very comfortable with container systems (such as Docker and Kubernetes) and various types of serverless computing (such as AWS Lambda and Fargate). Your network security knowledge should extend beyond AWS Shield to include industry best practices and experience with basic tools such as penetration testing.

We have a broad technology stack and are excited to see what you can bring to the table! This role has the opportunity to improve not just our current cloud infrastructure but also drive our next generation implementation. Experience with additional cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure is welcome, along with all the other skills you’ve picked up along the way.

Sound exciting to you? Join us as we build the future of collaboration.
