Our Service Operations team is a diverse group of technical professionals who engage with the broadest range of customers. If you have a passion for providing best-in-class technical support and a great customer experience, we invite you to join us as a Technical Support Engineer, supporting our scientific laser and commercial customers in the North America and international regions.

 

What you will do is:

  • Provide on-line and phone support for our laser systems and effectively respond to technical questions from our customers regarding system repairs and applications
  • Be in the field to install a new system or provide maintenance service, or use your troubleshooting abilities for repair
  • Provide technical support to internal sales and application teams and have opportunities to participate in customer meetings as a Service representative
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, and Quality Control regarding customer input and Product issues
  • Stay current with the latest features and upgrades and training of new products and software
  • Maintain historical performance and repair information and document field service reports
  • Monitor, maintain, update the Call Tracking Log and predictive care laser systems

 

In addition to your enthusiasm, you will bring to the team your:

  • Associates degree in Laser / Electro-Optics or related discipline
  • 3+ years of practical experience
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills with new electrical, mechanical and laser systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to assume new tasks and responsibilities, self-manage, and schedule working time with minimal supervision
  • High degree of proficiency of PC skills including MS office, SAP, and data analysis applications
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time within the U.S.
