Is this You: 

MicroVision currently has an opportunity in our Test Engineering Team for a Staff Test Engineer with experience testing optical systems and/or components. This role requires a balance of both software and hardware strategies to develop characterization test as well as production calibration and test solutions for automotive lidar applications.

Primary purpose of the role is:

• Design verification components and develop behavioral / reference models.
• Develop self-checking test benches using standard verification techniques.
• Develop directed/constraint-random test cases.
• Run RTL and gate-simulations, debug problems.
• Define and implement coverage models and analyze results.
• Run and triage regressions, tracking bugs, and analyzing coverage.
• Supporting automated regression and test Linux environment.

Required Skills:

• Strong Python or C++ or similar Object-Oriented programming.
• Python, TCL, Curl or similar scripting.
• System Verilog/OVM/UVM
• Computer architecture and digital design fundamentals.
• HDL Simulators (Mentor, Cadence, Synopsys etc.)

Required Experience:

• Solid experience with object-oriented concepts
• Designing class-based test benches.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Experience with RTL and ASIC gate level verification.
• Experience in a Linux development environment.
• 10+ years verification engineering experience
• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field

Preferred Knowledge:

• Previous experience with Buildbot automated regression.
• Experience in a Cocotb or other PLI based co-simulation environment
