About Your Next Opportunity:

The Vive Studios and Developer Relations Team is looking for a Developer Relations Engineer to help provide the technical knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to support and promote our developer facing offerings to content creators and partners.


This individual will support internal teams and external partners as part of the Developer Relations team and work closely with business units across regions to support developers and enable partner integrations that will result in high-quality content experiences published to our distribution platform.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support developers and ISV partners towards utilizing VIVE hardware, SDKs, and services.
  • Support internal teams and developers to drive new opportunities and maintain a high level of content quality.
  • Engage with product and engineering teams to improve our tools and processes.
  • Create developer facing guides, tutorials, sample code, and documentation.
  • Support developers with SDK integration, code assistance, and porting.
  • Support developers and partners in the VIVE Community Forums.
  • Support key partner relationships, project schedules, and hardware seeding efforts.
  • Support operational functions within the Dev Rel team



Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities):

  • BA/BS degree
  • 2+ years of experience as a developer with a focus on VR or mobile technologies
  • Experience with C# or C++ coding for 3D graphics
  • Experience with game engine technology, Unity, and/or Unreal Engine
  • Understanding of developer segmentation and ecosystem, and how to effectively support content creators
  • Active member in developer user groups, and engagement with groups driving development efforts
  • Excellent documentation and presentation creation skills
  • Excellent oral, written, and public presentation skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
