Who You’ll Work With:

At Lenovo, we manufacture one of the world’s widest portfolios of connected products, including PCs (ThinkPad, Yoga, Lenovo Legion), tablets, smartphones and workstations as well as augmented and virtual reality (Mirage, ThinkReality) and smart home/office solutions, software and services. In this role you will be representing the product portfolio for our IDG business. IDG (Intelligent Device Group) – The IDG at Lenovo houses our PC and Smart Devices. We combine investment in high-growth segments (workstations, gaming, visuals, thin and light devices) with new innovation in the smart device categories and continue to explore new opportunities across AR/VR, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), security and as-a-service solutions. Job Description:

The Channel Account Manager will be responsible for driving revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction. This individual will be managing and maintaining account relationships through meaningful and value-creating engagements. They will develop strategies for enhancing channel sales, as well as communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership and industry trends. The Account Manager will be engaged with extended teams in working with the Lenovo field sales organization. The candidate must be able to position Lenovo product and channel value proposition.

Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will have a 5-7 year proven track record in strategic selling and account management, strong interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated team building, leadership and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements concurrently. Candidate must have an entrepreneurial approach that is imaginative, smart, passionate, and approachable. Channel sales experience is a plus. This position will require occasional travel. Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of successful technology/PC/hardware/server sales experience is required.
  • Previous channel sales experience working for or calling on a business partner is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills required
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated team building, leadership and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Solid financial acumen and financial management skills
  • Territory management skill
