Facebook’s Internal Audit (IA) team is looking for a Director of the Technology Audit (Tech) vertical to lead an emerging project portfolio through building and owning relationships with critical business partners, providing project oversight, and managing and developing a team of IA professionals. We are looking for a highly qualified, technically proficient leader to set the path forward in a relatively new space for the department which requires close partnership with the Infrastructure, Emerging Technology (Novi & AR/VR) and Information Security teams. The candidate must be comfortable and highly effective in an ambiguous, rapidly changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set governance, strategy, and project management expectations across the Tech vertical project portfolio
- Build strong relationships with key IT, engineering, and business partners, including Infrastructure, AR/VR, Novi and Information Security, to thoroughly understand their business and identify appropriate risk mitigations and opportunities to add value
- Drive risk assessment and dynamic audit planning and participate in enterprise risk assessment and audit planning processes
- Manage and develop a team of audit professionals to execute audits and projects, providing direction and ongoing coaching and development
- Report to the Vice President of Internal Audit, Executive Leadership, and the Audit Committee on risks, portfolio of audits, and outcomes
- Bring thought leadership, leading practice frameworks, audit process improvements, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department
- Collaborate with other Internal Audit leaders to execute IA’s strategy and coordinate cross-vertical audit projects and initiatives
- Effectively manage relationship with the internal audit co-sourcing partner(s) to ensure that we execute as one team
- Coordinate with other risk management functions (e.g., Privacy, Regulatory Compliance, Information Security) to minimize duplication of effort and maximize execution
- Viewed and respected as communication leader for Internal Audit and broader Finance organizations
Minimum Qualification
- BA/BS in business, computer science, management information systems, or related field
- 15+ years experience with Big Four or internal audit
- 8+ years experience managing, developing, motivating and coaching people
- Experience auditing one or more of the following: data centers, networks, infrastructure and/or supply chains in global technology hardware manufacturing businesses and or information security
- Experience working with business partners and third party providers
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization experience
- Knowledge in technology infrastructure
Preferred Qualification
- Professional auditing certifications, such as the CIA, CISSP, CPA, CISA or CFSA
- Master relationship builder – Gains trust through action, develops deep business understanding, spots opportunities, and delivers value to the business
- Lover of ambiguity – Thrives and gains energy from navigating our ambiguous and changing environment
- Artfully distills complexity – Goes deep, synthesizes, simplifies, then story-tells to the audience
- Understanding of Facebook products and operations
