Responsibilities
  • Analyze, evaluate, design, develop, integrate, debug and test real-time AR and VR software
  • Participate in design reviews and code reviews. Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural trade-offs required to rapidly deliver software solutions
  • Work with researchers and engineers to understand challenges in building state-of-the-art software systems
  • Write clean readable code, debug complex problems that span systems, prioritize ruthlessly and get things done with a high level of efficiency
  • Learn constantly, educate others, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of AR/VR problem solving
  • Propose and implement reliable, maintainable, and scalable system-level software solutions to facilitate research activities
Minimum Qualification
  • 5+ years experience with modern C++ (C++14 and above)
  • Track record in building technology & product development in the areas of telecommunication systems, cloud storage, or real-time gaming
  • Demonstrated architecture and design experience
  • Experience working independently and in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience working in research teams or highly dynamic environments

Preferred Qualification
  • MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years experience with modern C++ (C++14 and above)
  • Experience with PHP, SQL, C#, and Python
  • Experience with machine learning
  • Experience developing AR/VR applications
  • Experience with computer graphics
  • Experience with the unity game engine
