Job Description
Osmo seeks a creative Summer Technical Artist intern to help us design and create workflows and content for Mixed Reality products for children. This is for summer of 2021.
We’re looking for Tech Artists who have interest in: Children’s Educational Gaming products, working within AR & Mixed Reality platforms and are comfortable with ambiguity, fast prototyping and testing.
Responsibilities
- Support artists, engineers and designers to bridge the flow of art assets between departments
- Learn to manage, organize, test art assets as they are delivered to engineering
- Create art assets (in particular FX particle systems) as needed by the team
- Create UI/UX interfaces
Requirements
- Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s program, with targeted graduation date of Fall 2021 or after
- Familiarity with Unity and experience in C#
- Understanding of basic concepts of asset pipelines and git revision control
- Flexible with and enthusiastic about learning new things
Nice to have
- Basic understand of digital art workflows
- Creating particle systems, integrating UI assets, and prefabs
- Experience designing applications for a global and multilingual user (kids) base
- Experience working with AI, AR, and VR technologies
