Our client is a venture backed software company that has created an all in one platform for spatial computing. Founded in 2016 by games industry veterans, they lead the frontier of innovative 3D user experience and real-time application authoring environments as a Gold Tier Microsoft DMP for the HoloLens 2 mixed reality headset. Their platform is like a traditional web collaboration tool (think Wix or Squarespace) but for 3D spatial apps and content - and runs on the latest AR/VR hardware. Their suite of native apps and APIs allow companies to create interactive 3D scenarios for AR and VR.


The opportunity

We are looking for a passionate Server Engineer ready to jump on board and take the lead in server infrastructure and operations supporting the entire tech stack of the company.

It's a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in AR/VR and be part of the spatial computing revolution within a fully distributed global & diverse team.


In this role you will:

  • support worldwide cloud platform built upon various different technologies.
  • working closely with AR/VR front-end developers and back-end engineers to ensure the smooth operation.
  • be in a position to optimize and drive the future automation and innovation.


Who you are:

  • You are a generalist who has server experience but you can also operate full-stack with a focus on the back-end/server side leaning towards networking and server related tasks.
  • You are an integrator who feels comfortable in a supporting role.
  • You have some experience with Javascript.
  • You have container/backed services platforms experience (Azure, AWS)
  • You are familiar of security best practices.
  • You are interested in the AR/VR industry and be open to the learning curve
  • You are ready to take ownership of maintaining and documenting databases and backups (in PostgreSQL).
