The Facebook Reality Labs Partnerships team is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to drive partnerships with Mobile Carriers for our suite of new AR/VR devices. You will be responsible for influencing carriers at the C-Suite level, driving sell-in and carrier certifications, along with managing and building a global, dynamic Carrier partnerships team. Additionally, you will be responsible for influencing specifications with Carriers for FRL’s new to world AR/VR products, while also creating new contacts with global carriers and enhancing and building upon FRL’s relationships with existing Carriers.

Responsibilities
  • Build and execute on global mobile carrier partnerships for a broad set of products in FRL (including VR, AR, Portal, and future AR/VR product lines)
  • Define, negotiate, and close complex product and distribution partnerships deals with carriers
  • Develop and drive carrier partner strategy for new products in the FRL team
  • Drive sell-in and carrier certification for new AR//VR products
  • Build and lead a global BD team for FRL Carrier Partnerships
  • Work cross-functionally with product management, product marketing, legal, finance, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms advocate internally for carrier partnerships
Minimum Qualification
  • BA/BS degree
  • 15+ years of work experience, including 10+ years of business development experience specifically with carriers in a consumer electronic facing role
  • Proven experience in Carrier ecosystems with structuring and negotiating the business, technology and legal aspects of carrier partnership agreements, with a track record of closed strategic carrier partnerships across the entire stack of hardware and value-added services
  • Global executive experience, having lived and worked in at least two continents and led global teams across US, Europe and Asia
  • Extremely hands-on structuring, negotiation and execution experience of complex strategic deal constructs at C-level and with a hundred million+ impact
  • Direct experience working cross-functionally with large product management, engineering, sales, and marketing teams, from individual contributors to executives
  • Interpersonal skills and experience developing work relationships inside and outside Facebook

Preferred Qualification
  • BS in Engineering or Computer Science
  • JD or MBA
  • Experience operating with flexibility in a fast-paced, always-on, constantly evolving and collaborative environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills with technical, contractual and financial issues
  • Experience with new consumer device sell-in and certification. Experience working at the carrier and/or at a consumer electronics company working with carriers
