AltspaceVR is currently available in VR on Oculus Quest/Quest 2, Rift/Rift-S, HTC Vive and Windows Mixed Reality, and in 3D through our Mac and PC apps, with gaming and mobile platforms coming soon. The Altspace Events Principal PM Marketing Manager is a data-driven role responsible for overseeing and managing all AltspaceVR’s marketing channels, creating and launching campaigns, as well as developing creative and video assets that drive awareness and adoption of our product and individual events. You will be responsible for developing a successful marketing strategy and executing on a plan to reach the right demographics to grow our user base through new user acquisition and repeat customers, while also driving ticket sales for individual shows.

  • Drive successful execution of marketing campaigns, including defining campaign intent, key beats, and owned/earned/paid media tactics
  • Collaborate with the Business Lead and talent teams to plan and oversee marketing campaigns for individual shows
  • Lead and execute marketing projects to grow the business through new customer acquisitions and repeat strategies- including deep dives based on customer lifecycle
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across business development, production, engineering, and support
  • Create and manage digital cross-promotional opportunities and partnerships
  • Oversee, design, grow and maintain our social media presence
  • Keep up with current marketing and social media trends to brainstorm new ideas and concepts for assets and promotions to market our platform and events
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against goals and KPIs
  • Generate and manage the marketing budget
  • Develop additional marketing opportunities to increase ticket sales when needed
  • Oversee and drive content asset creation across channels
  • Manage planning, business analysis, forecasting, and driving analysis of marketing strategy and campaigns
  • Present recommendations to refine and product positioning and strategy, leveraging your data analysis and modeling skills
  • Own and continuously improve the customer experience from website to event, as well as the managing our customer service and support channels
  • Provide real time social media posting and updates of our tentpole events
  • Help build the marketing team as we grow

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in music, entertainment, or gaming
  • 5+ years experience in paid media, digital, and social media
  • Experience running campaigns in the live events or entertainment space
  • Experience using data to make business decisions
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills; ability to create in a wide variety of presentation and communication formats
  • A self-starter with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment
  • Ability and experience in successfully managing media relations on challenging issues
  • Experience working with high profile talent preferred
  • Experience with tools in Microsoft Office and Adobe suites of products
  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on marketing or communications preferred
