Job Description

Virtual Reality Content Engineer is needed in Saline, Michigan through Belcan Technical Services. In this position, you will create various types of content to support AR & VR implementation throughout the company. To qualify for this position, High school diploma or Bachelor's Degree, basic understanding of CATIA V5, 3+ years of experience developing content in Unity or Unreal Engine, and 3+ years of experience as a programmer in a mature team, studio environment or agency for developing games, applications or similar products.

Virtual Reality Content Engineer

• Create various types of content to support AR & VR implementation throughout the company
• Create automation to support workflow between CAD System (CATIA V5) and AR & VR technology
• Support data organization and creation of digital media utilizing advanced visualization and rendering tools
• Setup equipment and software to host meetings in AR or VR
• Integrate and apply new technology in existing systems and processes
• Create new operating procedures
• Ability to effectively communicate in written and oral form to management and other departments (examples):
• New project proposals
• Meeting minutes and future actions
• Requests for support to overcome challenges
• Reporting out work results
• Collaborating with others in similar roles in other locations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience developing content in Unity or Unreal Engine
• 3+ years of experience as a programmer in a mature team, studio environment or agency for developing games, applications or similar products
• Strong understanding of object oriented programming principles
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic understanding of CATIA V5
• Ability to work to meet schedules and deadlines
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English

• QUALIFICATION WANTS

1. Engineering degree in computer science or computer related area

4. Strong computing background (with ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly)
