We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help make this vision a reality. This person will design, implement, enhance, and ensure the proper functioning of new features that will enhance the user experience and effectiveness of our training products.

The Senior Software Engineer is expected to collaborate with design and content creators to provide feature technical designs and prototypes as well as support general scenario development and production for VR in a Unity 3D operating environment. A solid understanding of feature development from concept to delivery is required. Experience in UI/UX development, multiplayer, and networking is desired.

What your responsibilities will be:

• Provide testable, high-quality features that meet design and content creator requirements
• Be aware of how features impact maintainability and scalability
• Look for ways to increase usability and value through feature enhancements
• Create maintainable and mutually-supportive features across the system
• Advise and support development leaders on difficult technical challenges
• Lead and mentor junior team members

What you bring with you:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, game development, or related field
• Broad and deep experience using Unity3D within a production environment
• Knowledge of technical considerations in developing for virtual reality
• Strong self-management skills are critical and you must be able to work within a fast-paced distributed team environment
• Experience compiling and understanding system development needs to assess their feasibility for enhancing the production pipeline
• The ability to analyze existing features in the engine and available tools and suggest improvements by designing and implementing new systems whenever necessary
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• The ability to understand, consider, and give constructive feedback
