The impact you’ll make:


As a Software Engineer on the Content Engineering team, you’ll be working on a wide spectrum of tools that support our content production pipelines. This includes a VR content authoring client, mixed-reality capture tools, 3D art pipeline tools, and prototype support for new gameplay modalities. 


The work will include adding to and improving applications that serve multiple stakeholder groups, optimizing for mobile VR hardware, and continuous integration and testing. The work requires adaptability and flexibility, as priorities can quickly change and we’re supporting multiple projects with multiple codebases.


The ideal candidate will bring a passion for high-quality code and user experience sensitivity in order to ideate and implement effective solutions for many different types of internal users.


What you’ll do:


  • First and foremost, help us deliver innovative solutions to drive the advancement of our live products at scale
  • Stay informed on and adapt to a rapidly evolving software and hardware ecosystem
  • Deliver stable, maintainable, high performance code on time and to spec, while contributing to peer code reviews to elevate the group’s code quality
  • Actively participate in engineering process improvement discussions
  • Become familiar with complex and varied internal creative workflows in order to support them with technology solutions


What you’ll need to be successful:


  • CS, Software Engineering or an equivalent degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Three or more years working in an engineering environment relevant to the listed 
  • responsibilities
  • Professional Unity or Unreal development experience and expertise with C#
  • Understanding of 3D applications and asset management
  • Experience integrating backend systems


Bonus points for:

  • Experience with VR/AR
  • Examples of supporting projects with an existing user base
  • Familiarity with Unity Editor scripting, Visual Studio WinForms and console apps, Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
