Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Leading the growing engineering team at a fast-moving company
• Mentoring and coaching engineers, helping them to reach their full potential
• Contributing to technical development strategy and roadmap
• Coordinating solutions to complex technical challenges
• Identifying tools and automation improvements to support team (and company) productivity
• Identifying technical alternatives and trade-offs, and communicating those alternatives clearly to both engineers and other departments
• Identifying and executing on recruiting needs
• Contributing constructively to negotiations on product deliverables
• Partnering with senior engineers, leveraging their experience to build a highly productive team and systems

This is the right opportunity for you if you:

• Have 5+ years of previous engineering management experience in gaming, VR, SFX and/or real-time art pipelines
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Are a proven multi-tasker, comfortable working on multiple products and releases in parallel
• Are a deadline-driven, self-motivated problem solver
• Are passionate about helping other engineers develop their skills and career growth
• Are comfortable working with remote/distributed teams, and being on a fully distributed team
