Job Description:

Want to build creative Virtual Reality experiences? Silverback is looking for a highly motivated Senior Unity Developer to join the team.

• Build unity applications from the ground up for iOS, and Oculus Quest using C#
• Get involved in all stages of project development, from inception to final testing
• Design, architect, test and implement game features
• Deliver production-quality code
• Analyze code performance and architect optimizations
• Provide technical leadership in areas of specialization and assist colleagues with technical questions

Requirements and Skills:

• Professional experience in game development (5+ years) 
• Excellent Unity knowledge
• Knows to use and work with version-control system(git)
• Professional experience building mobile games or apps for iOS and Android
• Excellent debugging skills
• Interest and experience in most aspects of game technology development, such as 3D, UI/UX, audio/video, networking, AI, animation, gameplay, physics, and tools
• A passion for learning new technologies
• Experience developing in a professional setting (practical, hands-on experience planning, writing, debugging, and performance optimization)
• Excellent written and verbal skill
• Bonus: Experience with multiplayer networking and/or web development
• Confident, highly motivated, proactive, and efficient, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to maintain a flexible working approach while achieving deadlines
• Passion for technology and isn’t afraid to “do the hard stuff”
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis now and in the future.
