Your new role
This is a permanent full-time Work-From-Home role for the HR Officer.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Perform HR functions including hiring, administering pay and benefits and leaves, employee engagement and labor relations.
- Handle end to end recruitment (Preparation of job description, posting advertisements, shortlisting, facilitate interviews, job offers, reference checks and employment contracts)
- Onboarding, orienting new employees and training existing employees on company policies and procedure
- Maintain and ensure accurate record-keeping of employee information, files and records in electronic, digital and/or paper form
- Prepare and review payroll information for processing
- Perform administrative tasks and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, legal, fiscal and local statutory requirements
- Recommend strategies to motivate employees while ensuring an organized and happy work environment.
- Ensures the implementation of HR policies and procedures are adhered to by managers and staff
- Liaise on the employee needs pertaining to compensation and benefits and other HR-related matters
- Investigate complaints brought forward by employees
- Review and develop organizational guidelines and procedures.
- Coordinate employee development plans and performance management.
- Review and develop applicable policies and implement systematic staff development procedures.
- Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
- Take point in all internal and external HR related matters
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have an established career history in HR, you will also ideally have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, or a related field
- Additional HR certification/s will be a plus
- Strong employee and labor relations background
- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Officer or similar HR role
- Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment regulations
- Efficient HR administration and people management skills
- Excellent knowledge of various HR functions such as pay & benefits, recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, training & development etc.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience with HR software such as HRIS and Recruitment Marketing platform
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
