As part of the Experience Design team, the Content Producer uses all forms of content and works on a wide variety of projects stemming from the connections GMR creates around experiences. One day you may be creating an Instagram story, and the next day scheduling a crew in an Olympic city. Projects vary and include quick, same-day, social media content and copy development; social storytelling including sports & lifestyle sponsorships, and influencer activations, documentary style branded content; animation, live streams; and virtual/augmented reality. Every day is different, and you’re able to travel the world telling amazing stories.
WHAT YOU’LL DO //
- Ability to produce video content with a strong focus on live social shoots
- Must be a storyteller at heart and will be expected to write social posts, name projects, understand videos and beyond
- Technical content production skills with abilities in at least one of the following video, photo, editing, audio coverage
- Experience in the creation and promotion of live social coverage
- Able to vary the tone and language of messages based on medium, target audience and product.
- Responsible for publication and distribution of social content on a daily, weekly and monthly basis – at times on location and in real-time within provided parameters
- Expertise contributes to the concept, organization, copy development, and distribution of our client’s social media and marketing campaigns.
- Participate in group brainstorms, conference calls and effectively communicate your ideas both written or orally to the rest of the internal team as well as clients.
- Keep up with and analyze passion-related social media campaigns, trends, livestreams, AR, VR and innovations from competitors and across key industries including sports, entertainment, and lifestyle.
- Provide passion (sports, lifestyle, gaming, etc.) driven insights, expertise and industry knowledge during client discussions.
- Collaborate with other members across the agency to assist in thinking of big ideas across a wide variety of platforms and channels.
- Work hand-in-hand within the agency to facilitate and develop sponsorship-related social media across varies platforms for key clients and best method for presenting material.
- Work collaboratively with day-to-day counterparts on the core team, partner agencies and respective client teams.
- Create and manage budgets and project timelines to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time and within budget
- Proficient in technical content production (equipment, editing, videography, photography, audio, etc.)
- Understanding of basic lighting principles, techniques, composition and post production process
- Source, hire and manage crew of various sizes.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR //
- Bachelor’s Degree or related experience//training in Journalism, Communication, Creative Writing, Marketing, Film or English or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience
- Working knowledge of content development for social media marketing
- Pulse on pop culture, sports, music, art, design, media and content.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent time management skills. Ability to work with a group of highly motivated individuals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills to varied audiences.
- Command of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, & Word
- Ability to travel as needed
