Job Description

The position of Brainstorm Virtual Set Designer / 3D Designer Projects at Verizon Media Studios executing Yahoo XR initiatives in live production. Will be to create set designs for virtual studio environments as well as AR charts and graphics for news and election coverage. The candidate must work efficiently and excel in a fast-paced environment where creativity drives a demanding workflow.

Responsibilities

• Be able to conceptualize designs and collaborate with the Technical Director and Creative Director.
• Be able to create and design graphics quickly while conforming to show formats,
• Have excellent time management skills and work consecutively on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Be an effective communicator who works to continue fostering the team-oriented environment.
• Interface well with all designers in the department
• Have a can-do attitude eager to problem-solve for creative and technical challenges.
  

Qualifications

• 10+ Years experience
• Experience designing, lighting and texturing and optimizing 360° immersive 3D environments
• Extensive knowledge of 3D software and design using C4D, Unreal Engine
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine asset integration workflows and Blueprint development
• Knowledge of workflow for Ncam & broadcast production required
• 2D design experience and 3D modeling experience with portfolio of published work
• Experience in workflow and 2D/3D animation, design and production optimization for Interscrolllers/scrollytelling
