Responsibilities

The Senior Product Marketing Manager of ACS + Teams Product Marketing is responsible for building and bringing to market the Microsoft-wide scale communications offerings of the future, leveraging the spectrum of current and to-be-developed products and services. At the core of this role is the extension of Microsoft’s communications assets from more well-defined B2B opportunity to the growing B2C opportunity. The following are the primary accountabilities of the role:
  • Define the market opportunity for ACS + Teams and partner with R&D to prioritize investments that will achieve shared business outcomes
  • Define the continuum of out-of-the-box, low-code, and custom solutions for customer communications
  • Grow market credibility of Microsoft’s communications offerings with customers, partners, industry analysts, and press - with an emphasis on ACS + Microsoft Teams
  • Introduce new market innovation in ACS + Teams through prioritized customer scenarios
  • Seek customer and partner input on the spectrum of industries and scenarios that will drive the highest impact on customer change and grow vs. our competitors
  • Design and execute marketing plans to grow measurable market traction of ACS + Teams
  • Work with ecosystem partners on cohesive and evolving Go-To-Market plans
  • Drive R&D feedback representing market growth opportunity and customer and partner product needs, including industry shifts and next generation communications technology
  • Drive business stewardship and product marketing depth across a number of focus areas, including: ACS, Microsoft Teams, LinkedIn
  • Define future addressable markets, product business model and monetization opportunities - including communications with Augmented and Virtual Reality
  • Contribute senior product and cultural leadership to a diverse and high-performing organization
This is a highly visible role that will require expertise in several areas: 1) collaborating and developing strong relationships with R&D and partner and sales organizations across the company; 2) having executive presence; 3) excellent written and verbal communication skills and 4) cross-company strategic alignment

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience and knowledge of unified communications or SaaS marketing required
  • Future potential management capability with a focus on modeling, coaching, and caring about employees
  • Successful history of driving market-aware business outcomes
  • Successful track-record of cross-functional collaboration with teams, contributors, and stakeholders across multiple seniority levels
  • Proven track record in planning and orchestrating strategic and complex business activities
  • Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment and reprioritize to align with business objectives
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute efficiently and effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree required
