This position is for a 1 or 2 year postdoc in Human-Computer Interaction, as a member of the EPIC, Ability, or Mixed Reality research groups within MSR’s Redmond Lab. You can learn more about recent HCI research at http://aka.ms/msrhci.

Responsibilities

Work with senior research scientists and developers to research and develop new technologies and publish in relevant conferences such as CHI, UIST, SIGGRAPH, and ASSETS. Work with Microsoft’s product groups on realizing those ideas within products.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in computer science or closely related field (completed by start date)

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Skills in HCI, accessibility, XR/VR/MR/AR, and/or AI.
  • Strong publication record in top-tier conferences or journals.
  • Effective communication skills (e.g., written and oral presentation of scientific ideas).
  • Ability to work in collaborative environment.
