Product Owner, Vuforia Studio

The Vuforia Industrial Applications team builds the world’s leading industrial augmented reality (AR) solutions, including Vuforia Studio, Vuforia Chalk and Vuforia Expert Capture. Working with a globally distributed team, you will be the technical product management representative within Vuforia Studio.

The Vuforia Studio team builds the Vuforia Studio desktop environment, the Vuforia View clients on HoloLens, iOS, Android, Windows, RealWear and Vuzix, as well as the Vuforia Experience Service. It is a highly collaborative team, and practices iterative, continuous software development following an agile process.

Your Day-To-Day

You Will

• work with Product Management to refine priorities
• collaborate with our UX team to define the product
• groom backlog with team members and maintain a sufficient queue of prioritized work
• coordinate efforts with groups across organizational boundaries as needed
• exercise ownership over work-items all the way through to delivery, and
• work with other members of the R&D team to ensure continued delivery of high-value product with exceptional quality.
  

Basic Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
• a proven ability to exercise exceptional judgement and decision-making in backlog prioritization and release criteria definition
• an ability to participate in and understand technical discussions related to product architecture and functionality
• experience with Augmented Reality and/or IoT is preferred
• excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
