ABOUT THE POSITION
The role will begin on a 40hr/week contract-basis for a period of 3 months, with the goal of transitioning to full-time employment. Candidates should be open to full-time employment.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING IN THIS POSITION
- Work with design team to develop and iterate on user interfaces for Hololens 2
- Build full stack, multi-user Hololens 2 applications
- Configure and deploy game server, as well as cloud backend for database and storage
- Integrate third-party telemetry data locally or migrate to first-party cloud backend for frontend use
- Candidate should be flexible with availability and tasks
- Assimilate changing project requirements based on stakeholder feedback
- Assist in planning and managing development sprints
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Significant experience with AR technologies, primarily Hololens 2 and Microsoft Mixed Reality Toolkit
- Significant experience with Unity3D and C# development, including Unity TestRunner framework
- Significant experience building REST APIs and C# networking clients
- Experience deploying Node.js code to cloud backends, including Firebase, AWS, and Azure
- Experience with game servers, e.g. Photon Engine, for real-time multi-user applications
- Cross-functional experience working with designers to develop prototypes and user Interfaces
- Knowledge of Test Driven Development, including unit and integration tests
- Familiarity with virtual reality development preferred, but not required
